Please first weigh your silver items to make sure they meet our 10 ounce minimum. If you are sending us "weighted silver" items, bear in mind that only the thin outer skin is actually silver. This silver skin is what we are interested in buying, not the filler inside. Candle holders, salt shakers, knife handles are very often weighted. If you are not sure, look for a seam where silver pieces are joined together. That indicates that the item is filled with something other than silver (weighted). Once this requirement is met, examine each silver item that you wish to sell, making sure that one of the "silver identifiers" listed directly below (see green section) is stamped on each piece.

Important: Please do not ship any "non-silver" items (listed directly above), to us. We cannot buy them, nor ship them back. Please call us if you are unsure. Also, please read frequently asked questions before mailing your order to us.

Print, fill-out, and sign our payment form. Please try to list each items that you are sending us on the form.

Small items: Place valuables such as silver coins, rings, jewelry, necklaces, etc., in an appropriately sized plastic "Zip-Lock" bag, or in aluminum foil. Place this inside a padded envelope.

Medium-large items: Place items such as candle holder, silverware, flatware, teapots, bowls in an appropriately sized cardboard box. Surround items to be shipped with either bubble wrap or Styrofoam peanuts.

Insert form and photo ID: Include the completed form along with a photocopy of a valid photo ID (driver's license, state ID card, etc) inside the envelope or box before sealing.

Box up and send us your silver package regular mail through the US Post Office.
Add Delivery Confirmation service, so you can track your package in route to our store.
Insure the package to sufficiently cover the contents.
We'll credit your order up to $15.00 to help with shipping costs.
